For Performers

Fees for performers vary dependent upon their experience, status and the number involved.

Transportation, meals, and hotel expenses are not paid by Oakmont Concert Series. However, we do have a hosting program which, if performers wish, can cover some of these costs. There is a local Santa Rosa airport, a half-hour from Oakmont. Driving distance to Oakmont from either the San Francisco or Oakland Airports is approximately one and one-half hours. Some artists like to rent a car, to add wine tasting and exploring beautiful Sonoma County to their Oakmont experience.

Driving to Oakmont

(From Golden Gate Bridge to OAKMONT approximate driving time 1 hr. 15 minutes.) Take Highway 101 North to Santa Rosa.

After reaching Santa Rosa, take "SONOMA-SEBASTOPOL HWY 12" exit on the right.

Take SONOMA fork to the right, then hug left lanes. Mini-freeway ends at a stop light intersection. You'll see a gas station on the far right corner.

Make a sharp left onto FARMER'S LANE but get into the right lane after the turn.

Pass six stop lights and at the seventh stop light ( Fourth Street ) turn right onto HWY 12 toward SONOMA.

Follow HWY 12 for about 4 miles. Four lane highway will eventually narrow to two lane country road and after about 1 additional mile, at the stop light, turn right into OAKMONT ADULT COMMUNITY on Oakmont Drive. (Big sign on right.)

You are now on Oakmont Drive, the main road. Turn left on White Oak (the second block), and immediately right into the parking lot in front of the Berger Center.
